Q: How can I create an Autodesk account?A: Visit Autodesk Accounts and fill in your name, email address, User ID, and password. You can use either your User ID or email address to sign in to your Autodesk Account.

Q: Do I need to have an Autodesk product linked to the Autodesk account that I will use to subscribe to PassivLink?A: No. You don’t need to use the same Revit subscription account in order to subscribe to PassivLink. You can use any Autodesk ID to subscribe to PassivLink.

Q: How can I subscribe to PassivLink?A: You can subscribe to PassivLink on the Autodesk App Store, after login with your Atodesk account.

Q: How can I go to the Autodesk App Store?A: Either by clicking the Autodesk App Store button in your Revit Autodesk desktop or going to https://apps.autodesk.com/en.

Q: How can I install PassivLink?A: By simply clicking on the blue button that says “Suscribe Now” in the Autodesk App Store: You will be redirected to PayPal to activate your subscription before downloading the add-in. After downloading the installer (.msi file), go to the download folder in your system and double click on.

Q: How can I uninstall PassivLink?A: By double clicking the .msi file installer and then clicking on “uninstall”. If you don’t have the installer you used in the installation, you can download the file again from the Autodesk App Store.

Q: Do I need an internet connection to use PassivLink?A: Yes. When you use PassivLink you need an internet connection to validate your license from the Autodesk App Store.

Q: How do I know if PassivLink is compatible with the Revit product I’m using?A: You can check the compatibility is on the PassivLink description page in the Autodesk App Store. At this moment Revit add-ins are not compatible with Revit LT, so PassivLink won’t work with Revit LT.

Q: How do I cancel my PassivLink subscription?A: Cancelling PassivLink subscription cancels all future scheduled payments. A subscription can be cancelled up until the day of the next scheduled payment in order for you not to be charged. Log in to your PayPal account in www.paypal.com. Go to “Settings”, which is the gear icon located at the top-right of the screen, next to the “Log out” button. Go to “Payments”. Click “Manage automatic payments”. Click “PassivLink”. Select “Cancel”. Confirm “Cancel Automatic Payments”. Q: Can I try PassivLink before subscribing?A: Yes. Write us to info@glaucoestudio.com if you want to test the add-in before subscribing. We will give you an entitlement to try the add-in that will last two weeks.

Q: Windows Defender doesn’t recognize the add-in after executing the installer. Why is that?A: Don’t worry, it is a normal situation with young add-ins until they reach a certain amount of downloads. Our add-in is digitally signed with Digicert and it is perfectly stable. Click “Run anyway” to continue installation process.

Q: Where can I find the PassivLink add-in after installing it in Revit? Can I move it?A: After installing the Add-in, you will be able to find it on the Revit ribbon. Depending on the amount of tabs you have, you will probably need to expand the ribbon to locate it. You can move the add-in to a different position in the Revit ribbon by clicking on it while holding the Ctrl key.

Q: I am trying to export, but PassivLink tells me that PHPP Excel is not open."A: PassivLink needs both Revit and PHPP to be open in order to work, so please, check that you have opened Excel before starting to export. It doesn't work with Excel opened in a browser.
